All sessions require a 50% retainer in order to reserve the date and rate. The remaining amount is due on the day of the session.

Newborn Session $500

- Session will be 1-3 hours in the home studio of Leina Wade or in the comfort of your own home after the baby is born.

- Includes the Photographers time and talent during the session and the custom editing of the best 25-30 images.

- A DVD of images in colour and B&W.

- One 11x14 print of your choice.


Where the session takes place | Although most clients bring their babies to Leina Wade's natural light home studio where the light is consistent and all the props are close at hand, she does hold sessions on location as well, finding beautiful light in the comfort of the clients home. Newborns sessions are usually about 3 hours long, allowing plenty of time for feedings, soothing and a variety of poses and set ups for your babies unique images.

When to book a newborn session | It is never too early to book a newborn session. Because your baby's birth date is unpredictable, Leina will reserve a time frame for you. If you are given an induction or c-section date, the actual session date can be booked in advance. If you are letting baby decide, Leina will mark your due date down and expect a call or e-mail from you as soon as baby arrives. It is best to schedule the newborn session when baby is 4-10 days old.
